I write in tweets, snippets, and bursts. I begin having some idea of where I want to go, but usually end up somewhere else. But 280 characters & hashtags provide fences for focus. Factoring hashtags and a URL, it's really far less than room than you think. #twitter #writer #tweet

Therefore, I'm going to attempt to limit each paragraph to the length of a tweet (280 characters). Where I run out of space is with hashtags & URLs. http://read.pubwriter.com/write.md - But twitter inserts a short url automatically, right?
The benefit of embedding allows you to turn twitter into an index for your pubwriter site.
I'd like to find an editor that notifies me when my paragraph goes over 280 characters, although in atom, you can quickly check by highlighting the paragraph.
In addition to limiting 280 characters, I'd like to limit the time I spend writing each piece. The workflow to publish something demands I stop writing and start editing in order to get it published within an hour.
I feel twitter is also adaptable to how many of us consume our content. The ability to setup filters for our feed is something Facebook has yet to offer.
I have an idea about something. I write about it. Writing helps me process it more rationally. When the idea is out of my head and on the screen, it allows me to make sense of it. I need the filter for my brain.
