Reishi Tonic (Daily Immune Booster)

This helps boost the immune system and start you off energetically (it’s a great alternative to coffee). This combination is quick and easy, doesn’t require a blender or Vitamix. You can easily mix it up before you head out the door (I literally slam it down in about 60 seconds). These are the same ingredients found in some of the expensive immune tonics you find at Whole Foods! Since I started taking it regularly I haven’t been sick!

Here’s the recipe

  1. One Packet of EmergenC - I recommend Acai - its has the best taste!
  2. One spoonful of Maca Root
  3. One Probiotic Shot (Good Belly, Kefir, etc..) OR one Serving of Amazing Grass Green Superfood
  4. Three drops of Reishi Extract
  5. One drop of Vitamin D Drops

Note on item 3: I don’t always have Good Belly on hand - so I’ll substitute with Amazing Grass or a Kefir (near the yogurt in your grocery store). Using both Amazing Grass & a Probotic shot like Good Belly is probably unnecessary (& more makes for a pricer tonic) since they both contain probiotics.

I've read that Vitamin C helps improve the absorption of Reishi - which is why I mix them together - but I’ve also found that EmergenC hides the taste of Maca which I personally find a bit hard to swallow sometimes.

Add Ginseng Extract (especially helpful for replacing caffeine) as well as my supplement stack!
