The Today Manifesto

Today is the day you have been waiting for.

Don’t hesitate, tomorrow will be too late.

Today's the day to apply all you have learned, it's no longer time to practice, the game clock is ticking and winners don't wait.

I am leveraging the ability to intentionally direct my attention to a better today... All the better today's combine to make a better tomorrow. I will not let setbacks define my state of mind, but rather - I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn more, and better myself.

For today is the day I get another opportunity to live my best life, to exist as my best self, better than I ever was, but not as good as I'll ever be.

My past will not define who I'll be, it only defines who I've been. Who I am is defined by the thoughts words and actions that take place today. Therefore, today I am who I imagine my best self to be. That image is ever expanding, and I am excited for tomorrow because it means an expanded version of who I am today.

You can't let anything go, but you can let your attention be drawn elsewhere... and their lies the key. Learn to leverage your attention to live a life you love.

Today is not an experiment. Today has purpose. I create an agenda feeds my soul. My prime objectives are tied to the mission. I am inspired by it! I am enthusiastic and up to something bigger than myself.

At the source of my excitement for life is a living for a purpose greater than myself. My friend Becky shared once that one of the things she loves about me is my enthusiasm for some of the smallest things in life.

It's easy to see when you stop and pay attention. When you step out of the role you are playing, and see that you are not your role.

I would contend that the seemly small things I get so excited about (like the rule of 150) are more significant when they serve a greater purpose.

What I see is the potential.
