Spiritual Insurance

I've invested the last 4 years of my life into what I'd classify as spiritual insurance. What might appear as an impractical investment to some is actually one of the most important investments I've ever made.

I've established a foundation adequately prepared to deal with whatever comes next. My meditation practice keeps me rooted and helps me see the roles I fall into.

It's helped me discover the key to focus is in allowing myself to become fully absorbed in the role I'm playing at the time I'm playing it.

When I write, I'm in the role of a writer. When I edit, I'm in the role of an editor. When I research, I'm a researcher. Each role plays a part in creation.

I have spiritual mentors who have shown me how to adopt spiritual practices in my life. I have given myself the space to practice.

The formal practice is yoga and meditation.

The informal practice is the roles I play in my day-to-day existence.
