Simulating the afterlife

Next, I recalled my interest in Len's essay on immortality, discussed here. It was there I discovered the concept of Longevity escape velocity - and that there are people who do believe you can outlast death.

On a more practical basis, what would our lives be like if we died at the end of each day and awoke in a new life the next day? Could we select which memories to bring with us into our next life? Would we feel stuck?

Remember the movie 50 First Dates? In it, Drew Barrymore has a memory problem. Each day when she wakes up, she has no memory of the day before.
