8UP

“You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in the mind.” ~ Dale Carnegie

Once I finally get focused and moving, actively moving towards one of my commitments, the stress falls away. I am no longer worried about doing it because I'm doing it. I'm now in creation mode and if feels great!

The solution to the program is usually to stop doing what created the program. A lack of focus boils down to my mind's tendency to overthink everything. I over analyze and create a new level of complexity that didn't exist.

Clarity is the oppisite of an over active, over busy mind.

Remember, you only have one purpose: to create, love, and play. Happiness is a byproduct.

8UP is a tool to enhance knowledge progress.

I developed as a tool for focus. By revealing only one of the boxes at time, you can stay focused on that single thing.

8 UP is similar to mindmapping. The ideas that flow from an 8UP take your thoughts into a vivid display. Once the ideas that make up the larger concept is clear, we better assimilate the main idea.

The beauty of 8 UP is you can do it anywhere, with little more than a blank piece of paper.

Once you have your 8UP, write to learn with pubwriter, providing the ability to zoom in to the words that appear on your 8UP.

8UP in plain text

No matter what system you use to keep yourself organized, you can implement 8UP into it.

I wake up:

Stuck in Indecision?

Unable to decide where to focus next? Take your 8up and roll a dice. Where ever it lands, begin on the square.

Prioritize

If your 8 UP contains a lot of conflicting priorities, try jotting A,B,Cs on your 8up. Or use the Could, Should, Must priority system.
