Overcoming Self-Doubt Through Action

For me, it's not about completely eradicating self-doubt. Instead, it's about learning to push forward when these imposter thoughts arise. This is significant and largely involves action rather than talk. I've learned that believing I can't do something doesn't prevent me from actually doing it, which has led to a high tolerance for discomfort — a valuable asset.

The act of executing the task often resolves the problem. If fear stems from thinking I can't do something, simply doing it proves beneficial; hence, my approach is always to persevere. While determination may not be glamorous, its utility cannot be overstated.

There is an element of positive self-talk involved in overcoming these doubts — it resembles a good coach pep - talking a player rather than cheesy affirmations. It involves acknowledging your feelings and reviewing past achievements as evidence against doubt while encouraging yourself just to try.

Lastly, writing plays an integral role in this process: finding strength through written expression significantly aids in tackling tasks or projects that seem daunting at first glance.
