Middle

As a middle child, I am beginning to recognize some inherent flaws in my character. Namely that I am a matcher - I seek a balance of give & take. As a middle child, I can be loyal and generous to an extreme. My feelings tend to get hurt when that loyalty is not returned because I'm a matcher. My loyalty as a middle child is likely stronger than most can return with their own character flaws. This results in a lot of needless suffering.

I value fairness, but the world is increasingly unfair. People with unfair advantages get more, and as a result, those without get less. I detest the growing gap of inequality in our culture. Fairness seems to go out the window as children of the wealthy feel entitled to the wealth of their parents.
