Marketing Coordinator

Responsible for managing marketing campaigns for authors. Requires an ability to setup and maintain various cloud based tools on behalf of our clients, coordination of marketing activities (including press releases and ad placements), and communication with the client (the author).

You will be assigned tasks via an online collaborative project/task manager (AuthorDock) and use the same tool to log your time and results.

You will be trained to use the PubWriter web-publishing CMS (Content Management System) to publish specific pages (built from templates).

Main aspects of the marketing campaigns entail connecting authors to reviewers and launching bestseller campaigns on Amazon which involves posting of promotions on specific websites.

We have run dozens of successful campaigns and I'll provide a checklist to follow whenever possible.

Copywriting (marketing copy) skills is a plus (where you write compelling copy). I can provide you access to a copywriting course to help you hone in your skills (but you will learn on your own time).

I do have an office in downtown SLO we can utilize for training purposes, or can meet with you on campus. But in general, this is a virtual position (1099 - freelancer) that only requires internet access and a phone (with flexible hours).
